Phase 1: February 2008 – Mid-summer 2008
February 11, 2008 was the official start date for construction. In the early stages of Phase 1, mobilization: setting up the field office, utility relocations and surveying took place. The progress you will see consists of constructing the westbound lanes (two lanes) on the north side of existing Woodmen Road from Powers Boulevard to US 24.

Phase 2: Mid-summer 2008 – Early winter 2008
In this phase you will see the reconstruction of the existing Woodmen Road (for the new eastbound lanes). Traffic will be routed to the newly constructed roadway via crossover lanes.

Phase 3: Early winter 2008 to Mid-spring 2009
The project wraps up with the removing the crossover lanes, and completing the landscaping and final trail connections.

Early completion and changes in the schedule and phasing plan are possibilities. Weather, material availability and other resources can affect what is currently proposed. Please check back to this page for up to date information.
