Right turn lane on westbound Woodmen Road unto northbound Golden Sage Road will be closed from July 21 until September 21, 2008 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – From July 21 until September 21, 2008 the right turn lane on westbound Woodmen Road unto northbound Golden Sage Road will be closed for utility work. Drivers are asked to exercise caution in this area.

New traffic signal installation on Woodmen Road - starting July 17, 2008 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Beginning the evening of Thursday July 17 at 9 p.m. and ending at 5:30 a.m. Friday July 18, 2008, drivers may experience intermittent delays on Woodmen Road at the intersections of Marksheffel Road, Black Forest Road and Meridian Road due to new traffic signal installation. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic during the operation.

Woodmen Road just west of Marksheffel Road will be reduced to one lane nightly July 1 and 2, 2008 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Woodmen Road just west of Marksheffel Road will be reduced to one lane tonight and tomorrow July 1 & 2 , 2008 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for a utility crossing. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic during the operation.

Traffic shift on Woodmen Road approaching Marksheffel Road Wednesday June 18, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Starting June 18, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a minor traffic shift on east/west Woodmen Road approaching Marksheffel Road due to improvements required on the mainline. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic during the operation. Traffic will remain in this alignment for the next two months.

Overnight June 12, 2008 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. intermittent delays on Woodmen Road for installation of new overhead traffic devices - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Overnight Thursday only, June 12, 2008 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. traffic may experience intermittent delays for installation of new overhead traffic devices. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area.

Monday June 9, 2008 right turn-bay southbound Meridian to Woodmen Road closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Tuesday June 10, 2008 through Friday June 13, 2008 Nightly traffic detour at Meridian and Woodmen for repairs - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Monday June 9, 2008 the right turn-bay southbound Meridian Road to westbound Woodmen Road will be closed during the day 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for preparatory work. Tuesday night, June 10, 2008 through Friday morning June 13, 2008 traffic will be detoured at the intersection of Woodmen Road and Meridian Road, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for roadway improvements. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic.

Friday June 6, 2008 - one lane closure on Woodmen Frontage Road east of Golden Sage Road 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Friday June 6th there will be a one lane closure on the Woodmen Frontage Road east of Golden Sage Road near the School District 49 Bus/Administration Facility from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to place storm drain pipe. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic during the operation.

Girder Placement May 28, 2008 through May 29, 2008 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting on Wednesday May 28, 2008 through Thursday May 29, 2008, drivers on Woodmen Road may experience intermittent delays as girder placement begins on the Westbound Sand Creek Bridge just west of Marksheffel Road. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic.

Paving Operations May 9, 2008 through May 16, 2008 and Girder Placement May 21, 2008 through May 22, 2008 - Friday, May 9, 2008 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Paving operations will start Friday May 9, 2008 and will continue through Friday May 16, 2008 between US Highway 24 and Meridian Road. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area.

Starting on Wednesday May 21, 2008 through Thursday May 22, 2008, drivers on Woodmen Road may experience intermittent delays as girder placement begins on the Westbound Sand Creek Bridge just west of Marksheffel Road. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic.

Earth hauling equipment will be crossing Woodmen Road at Mohawk and Golden Sage Roads and Reduction in Speed - Friday, April 25, 2008 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Beginning April 28th and continuing through May 29th, earth hauling equipment will be crossing Mohawk and Golden Sage Roads between the Frontage Road and Woodmen Road for construction of the new westbound lanes. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drivers are asked to be alert and exercise caution in this area. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic.

Daily Traffic Control Flagging - Monday, April 1, 2008 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Starting April 2, 2008 to April 30, 2008 daily traffic control flagging will impact traffic on Woodmen Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Black Forest Road and Marksheffel Road. Flagging operations will be in place. Prepare for intermittent delays.

Monday, March 17, 2008 – From 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. beginning the evening of Monday, March 24th and ending the morning of Friday, March 28th, drivers on Woodmen Road will experience delays as traffic is reduced to one lane with an on-site detour that will be flagger controlled as crews do road work. Speed limits will be reduced for the safety of the work crew and drivers.
